ECU Mapping
What is ECU mapping?

The ECU (Engine Control Unit) is a small computer which runs the engine and manages ignition timing, air/fuel mixture and torque/power characteristics.

These variables are displayed as a ‘map’ and our advanced remapping process successfully modifies standard manufacturer settings to achieve greater precision and efficiency for your vehicle.

Performance Remapping

Our Performance Remap results in better engine response and increases torque and power by up to 30%.

Throttle response is improved and rev range is enhanced. Power delivery also tends to be smoother providing you with both a more enjoyable drive and easier overtaking.

Economy Remapping

Our Economy Remap re-profiles the engines torque limits which, during normal driving, results in a lower carbon footprint and fuel savings of up to 15%.

This is ideal for small to large vehicle fleets and private owners who are looking to reduce their fuel costs.

Remapping is a growth market driven by increasing consumer demand and recognition of published gains for both engine performance and fuel economy.

So, why don’t car maker fine-tune their own ECU’s? Well, large manufacturers sell vehicles across various markets that have extreme climates, different tax/emission regulations and diverse fuel quality, so they are forced to make substantial compromises in their tuning set-up. However, without facing such restrictions, EyeCommercials are more precise; we can safely optimise outputs, therefore unlocking your engines full potential.
